"Your life was unnecessary, human," the white dragon said as it floated above the old man. "You have reached your limit. This is the end of your reign. You shall not grow anymore, for no matter what you do, you are still a mere human."

Don't you think I know that already! Tears fell down his face, he couldnt even say it out loud. He couldnt dream of having an attitude toward a powerful being and survive. 

"All I wanted was to grow, to know no limits, never to reach the end of the story. Yet here I am, the world destroyed, and I am the only one left".

 The only HUMAN left. Every other species survived the dragons attack. Humans are weak and vulnerable; I am weak and vulnerable. I want another chance; I NEED another chance. I will break past my limits this time. I will give up my humanity; I won't be human. The old man grabbed his sword and raised it towards the stomach of the dragon, chanting the forbidden magic that can destroy the rest of the world.

"Thou who has crossed the point of no return, who has forsaken me and my land. In exchange for everything known to man, take the hearts of those who have took everything from me, to give me one more chance. Forbidden magic: Reincarnation."

The world felt as if it was spinning. The confused dragon look down in fear, a smirk appearing on the old man's face. He couldn't hide his excitement and happiness. "I guess even a dragon can get shaken up by a mere human, huh?" the eyes of the dragon widened. His heart popped out of his chest, soon the rest of the creatures on this world will have their hearts forcefully stolen. Their hearts will become his strength in the next life, a theory by magicmaticians. Only one other has ever mastered and used this forbidden spell, the demon king. His reincarnation took half of the planet, turning the other half into a wasteland. This hardworking magician's spell is more advanced, though. It will use as many resources as possible, meaning the whole world will be its resource. 

He swallowed up the last of the species hearts, the spell now the size of a mountain. All that's left of completing the spell: The World Core. The World Core is the center of the world, it contains the base of magic, and each part of the core represents the populations overall limit. The only species that is not controlled by to core is the Golem Dragon, a dragon that has the lifetime of a golem, endless. Its magic and growth are also endless; its also what this old mage transpire to be. 

The ground is shaking. The floor crumbling under its weight as the world core rises. The core is the size of a peanut yet causes so much damage. As the core mixes in with his spell, the force pushes him back, almost blowing me off my feet. After a few minutes of mixing, the spell shrinks into the size of a human heart, and slowing enters the old fart's body.

"That wasn't as bad as the rumors said," he sighed in relief. Seconds later, an agonizing pain stings his heart, causing him to stumble. The pain spreads throughout his whole body. As soon as the pain reaches his head, his brain splits, and he falls lifeless on the ground. Dying, yet never felt so alive.

"Wake up, Black Mage of Gunuum." A voice called to him. Opening his eyes, he sees a group of different species surrounding a table. 

"Welcome, Rohan, we are the Tull. Rulers of the worlds, but you lesser beings seem to consider us gods." The one in the middle said as she raised her hand, signaling him to get up. I will ignore the fact that she called me a lesser being for now.

"I am Haruna, ruler of the previous world you destroyed," she looks at me with cold eyes, obviously mad at me. "We have called you here for a special and rare reincarnation ceremony. We will bless you with whatever we see fit to continue your new life, whether it be good or bad, title or position, we will grant it by our choice. We don't have much time to waste. So we will make it quick."

Seeing a glow in his eyes, his excitement was obvious. I finally have the power to grow to pass my limits! Haruna explained how there's a race above them that assigns them the worlds, something that they would call deities, and how currently there is only 12 left of their species alive (twelve of them in the meeting). They clarified that each would give me a gift or a curse. Of course, Rohan accepted, seeing as there is no other choice.

"We shall start with me then," Haruna said she stood up and raised her hand on his head. "Have a kind heart, know when evil comes near, and be in pain if you become evil. With great power comes great responsibility. With great responsibility comes emotional strain. Cut off your feelings and emotions to become the greatest known to live, Gunuum Goddess' Secret Curse: World Bind; Emotion Bind". This bitch cursed me. Haruna sits back down with a smug look on her face, looking proud of the payback. Everybody else then takes their turns, bestowing an attribute onto me.

"Thou shall not waste time, for each millisecond spent is someone's death. Thou shall walk the world knowing time is no limit. Gutaro Gods Secret Spell: Time-Space magic; Insta-casting." 

"Thou shall have only one friend. Thou's true friend may only be his weapon. Thou shall only have six allies. Thou's true allies may only be his senses. Thou shall only have one class.  Thou's true class may only be classless. Thou shall only have one chance. Thou's true chance may only be his near-death experience. Sukuri God's Secret 7 Power Spell: Demi-God's Six Senses; Weapon Creation Magic; Wisdom of the Gods; Demi-God's Decisions; Classless Skills; Title: The Only True Demigod; Near-death solution." Oh ho ho, I like this one. I'll make sure to pray extra hard to this god in my new world. Sukuri smiled cheerfully, waving his hang softly.

 "Thou shall not unnecessary fall to the enemy, for there must be a reason to lose. Thou shall not unnecessarily give in to pressure, for there must be a reason to stop. Thou shall not unnecessarily fall in love. For there is no reason to. Rumiku Goddess' Secret Curse: Cold-Heart; Auto-Pilot."

 "You shall be knowledgable. You shall be strong & be number one. Only under harsh training. Junno Goddess' Secret Spell: Multi-Attribute; No-Limit; Memorable." 

"Do not betray us. Do not disobey us. Our minion to which will serve us. Binno God's Secret Curse: Minion of the Tulls; Title: The one that serves the gods."

"Thou shall not reveal himself; Thou shall not be bound by one type. For thou is the universe. For thou is hidden in shadow. Yuma Gods Curse Spell: A Fake Weak; Species-shifter."

 "To be a monster, you must become the monster. You shall eat to grow, grow to move, move to conquer, conquer to rule, rule to destroy. Maou Goddesses Secret Spell: One with the Beast; Become What You Dine."

 "Thou stomach shall not wither. For thou shall not be poisoned. Thou shall not feel pain; thou shall not stay pained. Thou head shall not give out. For thou shall not lose themselves. Lumo Gods Secret Spell: Never Sick; Numbed Pain; Monsterous Regen."

 "Thou shall always go guard. Thou shall always play the fool. Thou shall not 'win' the 'game,' but will win the war. Thou shall be seen as the lowest amongst the high. "We have given you what we desire, along with its limits......but that does not mean you can't break through these limits. If you can break the 'gods' curse that we will consider you worthy of being acknowledged by our superior, work hard now, Rohan Kuller, 'Hidden Child of King Hector Kuller.' The woman named Haruna said with a faint smile, her eyes looked deadly. I could tell she had messed something up on purpose. Wait a second...Child of WHO?!

I turned to the others to see they all had tense expressions. Looks of regret, sorrow, and pity filled their faces. Did she play me? Sweat trickled down my face as I blacked out once more.
