In this fantasy story a 23-year-old girl named Audrey sets out on an adventure to save the people of planet Xyron. Between creatures dying at the hand of physician licensed creatures, poverty, and a no longer engaged council. Life is taking a turn for the worst. Isn't anyone going to do something? Someone has to. But what is one to do when trying to make a change?
Audrey decides the only thing she can do is head to the planet's capital, Bagoa. Attempt to talk to the council. Then hopefully live happily ever after. But when she accidentally get herself thrown into slavery while shopping for supplies. She realizes this task is everything but simple. So she comes up with a plan.

Step one: escape slavery
Step two: Head to Bagoa
Step three: Pray for a miracle and hope the folktale she heard as a child, actually saves her people.
