And suddenly—screams, tears, and wails echoed through the streets. They ran, they fled, they trampled over one another. Parents grabbed their children before losing them at the street corners. Buildings burned, smoke filled the alleys as a frantic crowd tried to escape this hell.
"Run, quickly! Hurry!" shouted an angel, covered in ash.
"Get out now! She's coming!" yelled another, rushing out of a dark alley.
In the chaos, the footsteps of these poor angels overlapped, stumbling in pain as they desperately searched for a way out of this nightmare. Moving through the darkness, their figures faded before vanishing into an eerie silence. The screams of terror were soon replaced by the dying gasps of those left behind. Moments later, they were gone.
THEN,
High above, in a divine realm where the light never seemed to fade, seven figures sat in a circle on a platform beyond time itself. In this otherworldly setting, a pillar of radiant light stood at the center of the gathering of gods and goddesses. A voice rose. An angel with magnificent curly white hair, radiating an almost unreal sense of authority, spoke in a calm tone.
"Blood, suffering, pain, death, and chaos... That’s what the Great Goddess HIRAKI has brought upon the kingdom. We can’t just let this go. Her cruelty and madness have destroyed the capital of the Kingdom of MENAKAS. There has to be consequences, and I hope I have everyone’s support on this."
Cold, unreadable faces showed just how serious the moment was. Yet not a single one of them missed a word the angel spoke.
"The whole kingdom is wondering what comes next, and I know things have been tense between all of us. But I might have a solution that works for everyone. I truly believe this is the best option, and I hope you’ll see it that way too. So? What do you say, gods and goddesses of the heavens?"
A soft smile appeared at the corner of her lips.
