As the princess of the Nkhandwabar, Kalene always tries to prove her worth but she never seems to get anything right. Next to her near to perfect mother she appears like a failure, so when she gets sent on a quest that could potentially decide the future of the five tribes of Nthati she is determined to finally show everyone what she is truly capable of. Even if this means working with the girl she despises the most.
