300 years after the Death of Earth, humanity searches for a new home amongst the stars in a fleet of city-sized space stations. Driven by space-fatigue, an alien threat, and a crisis of maintaining their oxygen supply, humanity has grown paranoid about their survival and seek distraction, security, and comfort from the increasingly authoritarian Union Government. 15 years after the deadly 'Rhea-Massacre', Mara Hardsand, Ashton Coppatt, and Denys Harcrow, each a victim of the Union's tyranny in some way, are brought together by circumstance to uncover a dangerous government conspiracy by the hands Colonel Basileus Ryker.

With the dangerous military commander on their tale, Ash, Mara, and Denys flee from city-station to city-station, running into the hacker Gallen Cayne and Dr. Ronny Larker along the way, in search of star-charts that will help them escape the United-Sectors to the lawless 'Rogue Sectors' so that they can all live free from Union's tyranny.
