On her way back from a therapy appointment, anxiety ridden and depressed University student Naomi finds herself lost in her worst nightmare: A gated community. 

However, the years of bullying at the hands of her rich classmates never could have prepared her for what she finds there. Her heart torn out, her will broken, her body beaten, she returns home to find that no time has passed, and she can find no sign of her injuries to show her doubting family and friends.

Desperate for answers, she seeks the help of psychiatrists, scientists, religious figures and the local occult store. It’s there where she first sees someone who intimately understands her situation.

Toeing the line between grotesque dreams and incomprehensible wormholes, Naomi and her new companion must end their suffering and that of the rest of the victims of the unique force that seems determined to destroy them.
