Natalie Gavillion was born to follow the foot steps of her father after she was blessed by the goddess Fina, to be her sworn protector and champion when she was born. However after a lord learns of the new champion he makes a forbidden deal with the rivaling entity, Harom. Intending to keep execute the deal he goes after her, destroying her village when she was child. However, Natalie and her father were able to escape into hiding. Leaving Natalie at the orphanage to keep her safe and the two were separated.

After years passed Natalie cross-dresses to work as a palace guard, forming a strong and unlikely friendship with the prince . However when the prince leaves the country to meet his betrothed, the man who torched her village finds her.

Doing his best to stay loyal to the God he swore his life to, and to achieve his plan and take the throne of her country, Natalie and her entourage of friends are forced to flee and prepare for battle.
