Hey! My names Juniper, I’m a Beta fox-transform 5th year from GrafOak Pre-training school in Marthin, Nalek. I graduated a few months ago and tomorrow I start at Quith’s Hunter and Gather Primary Training School, its one of the best primary schools out there, its also one of the few school that allow both Carnivores and Herbivores in the same classes. They only accept 500 students each year, and is ridiculously hard to get into, there are acceptance tests and physical endurance tests. They were a couple months ago, almost everyone from my middle school class wanted to get accepted. But only 4 of us did, Brighten, who is a Alpha fox-transform and top of our class, Tegen, a Beta fox-transform and in the top of our class, and Bexley, a Beta leopard-transform, are the other 3 students who will be going to QHGPT with me. Sorry I’m getting ahead of myself, let me start from the beginning and explain.
Let me begin with the transforms, from what we know they are the animalistic form that our spirit takes. They are generally passed down through families, but occasionally you get a wolf in a family of lions. From the outside you can't tell what transform someone has, only when they are transformed is when you can start to tell. Transforms are split into two categories: Carnivores and Herbivores, more on that later. Every transform has multiple levels, the first is quarter-form where you take on characteristics such as sight, hearing, and strengths, in this form your eyes and skin may change color. The second form is half-form where you start taking on the form of your animal, you can have ears, horns, tails, wings, or any extra appendages that your animal has. The third transform is full-form, for many this is their final transform, in this form you gain the strongest part of the animal. Such as gaining a Hares hind legs for their speed and strength, or the claws of a wolf for their strength, its specific due to the animal you have. The last transform possible is called absolute-form, where you completely transform into your spirit animal, very few people can accomplish it but once you are in this form you can go undetected into the world.
Because of our transformations and our closeness to animals, many of us can speak or communicate with animals of the same species as our transforms. Some have learned to talk to multiple different species of animals, and have befriended them, making alliances that can be used later on in life. Alphas have the hardest time communicating with more than one species, if they can they tend to talk with animals that share their bloodlines, as an example talking to different types of canines if they’re a dog, or different felines if they’re a lion. Betas have less trouble with it, they tend to be less intimidating so the animals are more open and willing to work with them in the learning process. Lastly, because of their tendency to be more caring, gentle, and loving, Omegas can communicate and work with many different species of animals no matter what transform they have.
Next thing I’ll explain is how the transform ratings go. The ratings show how strong the transform is, more common transforms are pretty average in strength while uncommon transforms can be ridiculously strong. General canine and feline families are pretty common, but transforms such as wolf and lion are higher class and tend to be stronger and more uncommon. A transforms rating starts with the type of transform they have, top tier transforms are animals such as wolfs, lions, griffins, and dragons, with dragons at the very top. But any transform can have a higher rating if they can morph. A morph-transform is stronger and can take the shape of any animal that shares the same bloodline as their main transform, so its ratings go up. Think of the base rating system as the food chain if a household cat can morph into a cheetah it can beat any type of feline under it at least and is higher on the food chain. Another way that a transforms ratings go up is if they are a bare, bare-transforms are stronger, faster, and larger than normal. They are no where near as rare as morphs though, bares take up about 25% of the population, while morphs take up about 12-15% of the population. And a combination transform of the two take up about 3-5%, these are nicknamed bare-morphers, I’ve never meat one but they are scary strong.
Lastly the Alpha, Beta, Omega thing, thats pretty simple. Its our second gender, think of it like a wolf pack. Alphas are the leaders, they generally make the hard decisions, and keep everyone in the pack safe. Betas follow the Alphas, they help them when protecting the pack. Omegas are the Alpha’s mate, they are forever connected to the Alpha and will always follow them. Alphas and Omegas can form a bond, where the Alpha bites the Omegas neck while they are in quarter-form, both of them have to want to bond for it to work. After that the Alphas pheromones released during it’s runt period will only affect the Omega, and vice-versa the pheromones release by an Omegas heat will only affect the bonded Alpha. Prebonding is when an Alphas runt and an Omegas heat line up, making them more attracted to each other and pushing them to bond during these periods. Both Alphas and Omegas can take suppressants to help suppress their runt or heat. Alphas, Betas, and Omegas can be male or female.
In common pre-training schools, students learn their quarter-form. But of course there are the elite pre-training schools that only take the best and brightest students, in these schools students can learn up to their half-form, the basics of weapon summing and magic wielding, tracking, hunting, and many forms of fighting. The most known elite pre-training school, is called Predator Vixen’s Pre-Training Elite School, there are two campus sights one in the west and one in the east. Each school takes 25 new students each year, they are one of the toughest schools to get into, right behind QHGPT. The students are nicknamed PVT forms when they go onto their training school, it was originally meant to be something mean students could use to bully them but PVPTE embraced the nickname, and uses it today as a way to enhance their students pride of their school. This year 20 out of the 50 graduating PVT students are going to QHGPT with me.
Oh yeah, and me. My full name is Juniper Lee Ridlon a Beta male Fox-transform, I turned 16 this past January. I have fox-red eyes, and straight chestnut brown hair that I usually keep in a lose low pony. I have olive skin, and I’m about 6’1ish. Brighten, Tegen, and Bexley are all in my class, I’m friendly with Brighten and Tegen mainly to stay out of their line of fire. But Bexley and I have been friends since we were kids. Bex has soft yellow eyes, blond curly hair that is always a mess it seams, she has fair skin, and is about 5’6ish. Her parents moved her here into the house next to mine, the summer after we both turned five. We have been friends ever since.
I very recently graduated from from GrafOak Pre-training school in the top ten of my class. This summer has gone by pretty quick with all the packing and shopping I had to do to get ready for QHGPT. I will be living in dorms on campus so I have to get everything ready. Orientation and move ins are tomorrow. Bex has been to excited over the past week, blowing up my phone non stop, she wants us to be on the same floor, in the same class, and in the same pack(thats what the assigned study groups are called). Man, I’m sorry about that, thats a lot of new and random information all at once and in no particular order, Bex keeps telling me I start to ramble whenever I get tired and have to explain something. But this past week has been so tiring. Well tomorrow does start the next 5 years at QHGPT, man tomorrow’s gonna be a long day.
