Yusha. A harsh, and violent world, where only the strongest survive. And the strongest are the Yushian Hunters. Cunning beasts with advanced technology, ruthless aggression, and the ability to outwit and overpower any prey in front of them. And Jom… Is not one of them.

Tired of being bullied and mocked by his classmates, Jom seeks to graduate from fledgeling school early, and become an Alpha Hunter, by killing a foreign enemy in the forest as extra credit. But in failing his hunt (again), he discovers this invader, an Earthian named Evan Trainer, was taken to Yusha against his will. And abduction goes against the Yushian Law. So Jom must keep his prey alive long enough to find the culprit, Discover the root of this treason, and finally get some respect. All while enduring Evan's (Ugh) "Empathy" lessons.
