Description
Percy, a disabled aristocrat, lives alone in his country house with just his servants for company. His daily wheelchair outings in the forest with faithful valet Worthington serve as his only contact with the outside world. When the wheelchair breaks, it sends Percy down a spiral of depression. Can Worthington reach out to him before it’s too late?
The Invalid’s Valet is a one-shot Victorian queer romance comic. Neurasthenia is the 19th century term for what is now known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Myalgic Encephalopathy (CFS/ME), my own condition, and the comic was inspired by my own struggle with internalised ableism and depression. Please note there are themes of suicidal ideation in this comic.
