At the center of the ocean, there’s a maximum security prison, a place for criminals that have done so many horrible things, but in the lowest level of the Maw of the Dead Man, lies another section of the prison, a level reserved for people that must be contained, people that have awoken a must dangerous facet of their inner selves, so far, there are three such individuals at the bottom of the hole, this is a story about them and how they will shape the foundation of everything.

“Inmate G-01, Male, 25 years old, from the providence of Navori, he was confined to this facility after a whole mountain was destroyed from the inside, casualties were in the double digits” the younger officer looked at a picture of a tall and big man, he was wearing a standard uniform from the miner group from the same place, his mouth was partially covered from his facial hair, a few scars and big muscles bulging from his tan skin, “Inmate G-02, Male, 23 years old, From the Vally of Killark, he was apprehended on the site of a horrible train accident, it is believed that he was the cause of it, we had to sedate him to gain access to the area, reports said that he would attack anyone that tried to get close to the wreck” the picture of this person showed a man, sharp features, longer black hair tied in a low ponytail, he was wearing some kind of formal wear suit, “Sir… I” “Silence, and let me finish… Inmate G-03 not much is known about him but the library at Marlusha had to be remodeled after he was done with it, the personnel had to be scraped from the books and walls with a spoon, now Marston I must ask, why are you betraying this fine prison?”

“General Caufield Sir. I assure you I don’t know what you are talking about” The general shook his head in a disapproval manner “Marston, Marston, Marston, I have several reports of you being intimate with them, please do not lie to me son” Marson shook his head “I merely treat them as persons, there´s no part on the protocol about not talking to the In-” the general slammed Marston´s desk harshly sending a wave of terror down the spine of the officer “they are NOT people officer they are monsters, have you forgotten their actions? Or are you just that stupid Marson!” rage and saliva were sent in every word Marson did not answer, he just nodded “good, now do your job and if one more report comes my way it will be the last, understood?” “Yes… Sir.” Marston reluctantly saluted the general before he left.

“god what a jerk, he is the worst” the officer moved the trolley with a box for the inmates down the corridor “I wonder who would have snitched on me… they are monsters yeah right, the guy that always asks me about how´s the family and my wife is evil” the sounds of the wheels echoed through the corridor to the center of the maw, no many people are posted in this area since the three of them are  confined at the bottom of a three hundred and fifty-feet height hole in the ground it is impossible for them to escape unless somehow they can fly out “not people my foot, I will disregard his orders I´ll just be more careful and make sure I´m not being seen talking to those guys after all I’m sure Parker wants to know if my daughter liked the book he recommended I get her” I entered the final check point and checked if I was alone, nobody in sight I picked my head trying to see someone down at the bottom but like always I couldn’t see anyone “Hey Parker, you there buddy!?!”

“ugggghhhh I hate you Anre! You are such a cheater that is why nobody likes you!” the bigger man laughed while holding his belly, “that is not cheating you are just bad at the game, don’t blame me Yun” The pair kept arguing with each other “look it is impossible for you to win with four aces!” Anre laughed “why not is called a fore of a kind, remember? We are playing poker sour loser” Yun´s face was scarlet with anger “I´m saying that it´s impossible because I have one of the aces, therefore you loaded the deck!” Anre looked down at the cards made from wood and quickly covered one with his hand, the card turned to ashes and blew into the wind “I don’t see that I beat your puny two-of-a-kind with a three of a kind” Yun roared “You just cheated on the cheating, that’s it!” Yun threw himself onto Anre and wrestled him to the ground, the pair rolled near the other man writing on the floor of the hole “Why must you two fight every day?” the blond man adjusted his glasses, Yun was about to hit Anre in the face “well he cheated Parker!” Parker rolled his eyes “Anre always cheats he has been doing that for the last three months you should see it coming by now Yun”

Yun made an angry face at Parker and crossed his arms, letting Anre stand up “You are older than me why are you acting like this?” Yun accused Anre, the bigger man started to laugh at the sight “Be… because after months in this hole, nothing is better than watching you rage” Yun was going to punch Anre again but Parker stopped him, “Yun, come on you being here longer than I have, you can't let Anre push your buttons” the man sigh “I’m bored I wish I had a book” Parker said and sat on the floor “mess with Yun it’s always fun… but life should have more than that”, he sat next to parker, “well… maybe I fall for it ´cos you know”, he sadly sat next to his two friends, “I’m also sick of this place we been here for years I miss the outside”

The three looked at the only way out, “the sky” said Anre, “reading under the shade of a tree”, added Parker, “playing with animals that won’t try to eat me”, the three sorrowfully looked to the floor, “Parker are you their buddy?” “Marston is here, how´s the wife? is she better?” Parker used his hand as  a megaphone  “Parker you know you shouldn’t, he is going to get in trouble” Yun remarked “I know but he treats us well” Parker looked again to the opening waiting for an answer “She is doing much better thank you, I have your food for the day, I’m sure you guys have this no problem!” he lowered the box to their level, “oh man why do we have to hunt our own food? I hate eating moonlight beast” don’t know don’t care let’s just deal with this thing and move on with our miserable day”, Anre said while cracking his fingers “fine, lest get this over then” Yun raised his hand and adopted a fighting stance, parker opened the box and backed away the box disarmed reviling the content, the three were looking at it “hey Marston is this a prank?”

Yun yelled at the officer, but he was gone “Who cares they are mine!” Parker jumped to the dismantled box and graved 5 tomes that were in it, he started panting and ran to the edge of the chamber to start reading the books, Yun and Anre walked over and found things for them two, a pair of gauntlets and boots made of iron for Yun, and a big sledge hammer for Anre, “well Christmas came early this year” said Yun while putting on the boots, “why would they give us this?... hey Yun?” “Yes?”  ”Is that sack moving?”

Yun looked at what remained of the contents of the box a large sack was moving, it was big enough to contain something alive but not nearly big enough to have a moonlight beast, Anre and Yun looked at each other they nodded and… “rock, paper, scissors, shot!!!”, Yun pull up scissors and Anre pulled rocks “you can’t accuse me of cheating this time now you open it”, Yun squinted his eyes at Anre and opened the sack inside a girl was curled over holding something in her hands “Parker get in here we have a problem!!!” Yun called Parker over he moved without taking his eyes off the book “What I was getting to the good part” Yun slapped the book from his hand and Parker noticed the girl he kneeled next to her and checked her vitals.

he sighed in relief after a moment “She is okay she is just sleeping, was she in the box?” Yun accommodated the girl in their makeshift beds while Anre took what the Girl had in her hands, “guys she had a radio” The other two walked to his friend “and we were saying we were bored”, the radio started to make sound until a voice came from the radio “good evening gentleman” the voice of a man came for it, Anre pressed the button to talk in the radio “who the hell are you? and why did you send a child to the maw of the dead man?” his tone was strict and angry, “calm down Anre, that girl´s name is Karolin, and like you three she is gifted”, Yun took his hands and covered his mouth with them letting a muffled no form his mouth, Parker took his glasses and stomped on the floor, Anre hit the wall with his bare hand “you there know what that means right? She will be killed before she can kill anyone else”
