The JOkeress is a weekly, black and white comic strip series, based on The Jokeress indie ebook series by Bryan Follins. The JOkeress comic strip, indie book series, and podcast series,are not related to the Batman character or creation, in any form or fashion. It is based on three scientists working on a project to solve the problems of skin disease, mental illness, and aging. However, the scientists discover they are guiena pigs for a larger scheme. They are changed, inheriting characteristics, some of which they are familiar with, some of which they are not. They embark on new chapters of existence in which they have decide on what to do with themselves. Are they good or are they evil? Do they want to know who is responsible for changing them? They have many many questions to answer, and many problems to solve. The main characters are Louise Vann, Swann Lee, Calista Bouvay, and Simon Lakso. The characters are fictitional. Any resemblances to any living characters are coincidental. The story takes place in two galaxies, on Earth, and on another planet called Alto, located in another galaxy. The genre is science fiction. Some underlying themes are body positivity and the side effects of abuse. The Jokeress is anti-formula. The Jokeress is a state of mind.The Jokeress is also a podcast seriescreated by Bryan Follins. Once again, this a weekly comic strip series, not a comic book series.
