I’d like to first start by introducing you to our ‘by chance’ female lead and main character, Sylvia Graham, who would likely be described as, "literally nothing important. In fact, she’s just a jealous hater of everyone else in existence with more of a life than she has," by our ‘true female’ lead, Willow Prichard.

Now, I don’t pretend to get mixed up in the dealings of women, especially human women, but I’d like to tell you this story about how these two girls threw a wrench in my plans and nearly destroyed an entire kingdom– but hey, I’m getting ahead of myself.

Sylvia never intended to be a murderer. She just wanted Willow to stop winning so much. But when Willow suddenly manifests magical soul power, Sylvia's jealous rage snaps. She pushes Willow off the school’s roof!

The problem? Sylvia didn't just commit homicide; she caused a catastrophic mess. Sylvia’s now gained Willow’s immense power, but also the furious company of Willow's ghost.

Now, under my guidance, guilt-ridden accidental killer must prove herself as she’s shoved through a portal to the Kingdom in the Clouds and forced into a deadly Bride Competition. Sylvia must master her volatile, soul-powered weapons and navigate a field of seasoned rivals. Why? Because she has to win, or die, to eliminate the Prince's unwanted suitor and save our kingdom.

Cleaning up a murder is easy. Training the killer and her victim's ghost to fight a celestial war? That's what requires a guide.
