Jones uproots his comfortable life in the big city of Richmond, Virginia in favor of the rough frontier town of Kinnik, Oregon. Not as a farmer, a lumberjack or store clerk- but as a teacher. Which, contrary to what those city snobs will tell you, is not always easy work.
