After reading a book called “The Duchess of Ronan” I spent my entire life with my head stuck in the clouds. The main characters were Duchess Karina, a workaholic woman, and her personal knight, Sir Avery; both charming fools who dedicated their entire lives to living earnestly, accomplishing nothing for themselves.

As my life went by, these two haunted me, until the reality of these book characters became truer than that of my own. My days became checklists rather than experiences, and the irony of condemning them for living this same sort of "responsible foolishness" struck me, convincing me to visit my bank and withdraw my savings.
To fund my own adventure.

But I was killed fleetingly in a bank robbery as bystanders watched on, and awakened as a young Karina, now newly adopted into House Kruscia. Having lived a life just as asinine as the main character, and dying only to become her as a child, it is an opportunity to rewrite the story. I'm determined to be happy, even as Karina, and will ensure that Avery doesn't waste away by my side as simple bodyguard.
