The Last Summoning Of Eldoria

Prologue 1: The Continent of Eldoria

Prologue 1: The Continent of Eldoria

Jun 09, 2026

Before kings raised banners, before republics debated laws, before academies molded the leaders of nations, the continent of Eldoria was a land of countless warring realms.

For nearly a thousand years, kingdoms rose and fell like waves upon the shore. Borders shifted with every generation. Dynasties were born in blood and erased in fire. The people of Eldoria knew only one constant...is conflict.

Yet Eldoria was never a world inhabited solely by humans.Elves dwelled within ancient forests older than recorded history. Dwarves carved vast kingdoms beneath mountains. Orc tribes roamed the frontier lands. Goblin clans established hidden settlements across hills and caves. Beastfolk, giants, spirits, and countless other races and creatures existed throughout the continent.

Some lived alongside humanity.Others remained isolated.A few became legends.

Then came the Age of Federations.

Unable to survive alone against growing threats, neighboring kingdoms gradually united under larger political entities. Some sought security. Others sought prosperity. A few sought dominance.

From this turbulent age emerged four great powers that shaping the destiny of the continent.

The Four Federations.

For centuries they have stood in uneasy balance, bound by trade, rivalry, diplomacy, and war.

Every child born in Eldoria grows up knowing their names.Every Federation measures their strength against eachother.

And every scholar understands that the future of their federation rests upon their competition.

The Northern Coalition

In the frozen north lies the Northern Coalition, a vast federation forged by necessity rather than ambition. Its lands are harsh.Towering mountain ranges dominate the horizon. Winters are long and merciless. Snow blankets entire regions for months, and survival itself is often the first lesson every citizen learns.

The kingdoms of Frosthelm, Ironholt, Wintergate, Stonebeard, Greymoor, and Barencrag form the backbone of the Coalition.

Their federation capital, Northhold, stands at the center of the federation like an unbreakable fortress.

The Northern people value discipline above all else.Weak rulers rarely survive long. Weak armies survive even less.

Although their population is smaller than that of other federations, their soldiers are regarded as some of the finest on the continent.Coalition generals believe that victory belongs not to those with the largest armies but to those with the strongest resolve.

Their military academy, prestigious Northhold Military Academy, has produced countless commanders whose campaigns are studied throughout Eldoria.

The Northern Coalition maintains one of the oldest diplomatic agreements in continental history—a five-hundred-year peace treaty with the Western Concord.

The treaty has survived dynastic changes, economic crises, and regional conflicts, creating a stable northern-western relationship that many consider the foundation of modern Eldorian diplomacy.

Unlike the maritime powers, the Northern Coalition has little interest in dominating the seas. Its trade routes are primarily land-based, connecting efficiently with both the Eastern Democrate Federation and the Western Concord. Trade with the South-Imperial Federation remains limited due to geography and longstanding economic patterns.

The North is also famous for a mysterious event known as the First Modern Summoning.

One hundred years ago, Northern mages successfully summoned individuals from another realm. These visitors brought with them unfamiliar knowledge, military theories, engineering techniques, and magical practices that differed greatly from those known in Eldoria.

Some of the summoned were elves from another world, while others belonged to races and cultures never before seen on the continent.

Many settled within the Coalition and eventually integrated into Northern society. The impact of their arrival was profound. New methods of administration, metallurgy, logistics, and magical research accelerated Northern development far beyond what traditional progress alone could have achieved.

Among scholars of summoning, a popular theory emerged from studying these visitors. It is widely believed that the more advanced the timeline or era from which a summoned individual originates, the more advanced knowledge they possess. Because of this, kingdoms and federations often seek not merely people from other worlds, but people from more technologically or magically advanced periods of those worlds.

Many historians believe that the Northern Coalition's modern military efficiency can be traced directly to the knowledge introduced by those summoned a century ago.

The Northern Coalition does not seek conquest. But if war comes, they are always prepared and no one want to rule over their six month frozen forest.

The Western Concord

To the west lies a federation unlike any other.Where others built fortresses, the Western Concord built ports.Where others trained warriors, they trained merchants.Where others fought over territory, they fought over markets.

The kingdoms of Aurelia, Meridian, Goldhaven, Lumenar, and Brightsea dominate the western shores of Eldoria.

Together they form the wealthiest maritime power on the continent.

Their capital city, Azure, serves as the beating heart of international trade.

The Concord's influence reaches far beyond its borders.

A king may command an army.A republic may command laws. But merchants command economies. And economies often decide wars before they begin.

The federation's pride is the Concord Naval Academy, an institution responsible for producing admirals, diplomats, navigators, and economic strategists.

The Western Concord possesses one of the most powerful navies in Eldoria. Protecting trade routes is considered a matter of national survival, and generations of investment have transformed its fleets into a force respected across every ocean.

The five-hundred-year peace treaty with the Northern Coalition has also shaped the federation's development. Secure from major threats along its northern frontier, the Concord devoted much of its wealth toward maritime expansion, commerce, ports, roads, canals, and urban infrastructure rather than maintaining an overwhelmingly large land army.

As a result, the Western Concord became the undisputed master of trade and one of the dominant naval powers of the Four Kings Sea. (vast body of water connecting much of the continent's commerce.)

Like the North, the West experienced a transformative summoning one hundred years ago.

Merchant and arcane guilds sponsored a large-scale summoning that brought scholars, navigators, economists, craftsmen, and magical researchers from another realm.

The knowledge they introduced revolutionized shipbuilding, navigation, trade management, and maritime logistics.

Many of the Concord's greatest achievements can be traced back to this event.

Historians often note that the extraordinary rise of both the Northern Coalition and the Western Concord was not achieved through traditional development alone. The knowledge gained from their summoned visitors allowed them to advance decades ahead of what would normally have been possible.

Many believe that if gold were a weapon, the Western Concord would already rule Eldoria.

Fortunately or unfortunately..the world is not quite that simple.

The Eastern Democrate Federation

The largest and most influential federation on the continent is the Eastern Democrate Federation.

Its rise transformed Eldorian history.

Unlike traditional monarchies, the East embraced representative governments, elected councils, and institutions designed to distribute authority among many leaders.

The republics of New Providence, Arden, Ravenport, Lakeside, Unionvale, Brightfield, Southreach, and New Dawn together form a political machine unlike anything seen elsewhere.

Their capital, New Providence, is often called the City of Progress.

Innovation drives every aspect of Eastern society.Factories rise where forests once stood.Universities replace castles.Engineers earn status equal to nobles.

Knowledge is treated as the greatest source of power.

The Democrate Institute of Technology is considered the most advanced academic institution in Eldoria.

Many of the continent's greatest inventions originated within its walls.

The Eastern Federation possesses the largest economy, the highest population, and some of the most advanced industries on the continent.

Yet the East was not always a beacon of progress.

In ancient times, the region was known across the continent as the Kingdoms of Slaves.

For centuries, countless slaves were bought and sold within the eastern lands. Merchant houses from the southern kingdoms transported slaves through vast trade networks, while powerful nobles and royal families across the region relied heavily upon slave labor.

Entire economies were built upon human suffering. The eastern lands were considered backward, divided, and politically unstable.

That reputation would eventually change forever.

Fifteen years ago, a large-scale summoning unlike any before it occurred within the East.

Individuals from another world known as Earth were brought to Eldoria.

Among them was a particularly influential summoner from Earth, originating from the timeline known as 18XX,an era of rapid industrialization, steam power, expanding railways, and accelerating scientific advancement. Their ideas, along with those of many other summoned individuals,  leave an indelible mark upon the federation.

Unlike the North and West, which gradually integrated their summoned visitors into society, the Eastern governments made a radical decision.

The summoned people were not merely welcomed. They were given influence.Authority.Resources.And unprecedented freedom to reshape the federation.

The governments of the East granted them positions within universities, industries, councils, research institutions, and administrative bodies. They were encouraged to reform systems, introduce new ideas, and modernize society however they believed best.

Many of those summoned are still alive today and continue to hold important positions throughout the federation.

The influence of the summoner from Earth's 18XX timeline proved especially significant. Concepts drawn from the height of the Industrial Revolution accelerated the development of railroads, mechanized industry, modern logistics, and large-scale manufacturing throughout the federation.

The wisdom of the summoned individuals also introduced advanced firearm designs and military doctrines. Guns, artillery improvements, industrial engineering, and modern manufacturing techniques gradually spread throughout the East, giving it a decisive advantage over its rivals.

The East became the strongest supporter of the timeline theory. Researchers observed that summoned individuals from more advanced eras consistently possessed broader scientific understanding and more sophisticated technological knowledge. As a result, many Eastern summoning projects now prioritize locating individuals from highly developed timelines whenever possible.

Within only fifteen years, the East achieved what many nations would require centuries to accomplish. The transformation was so dramatic that many historians divide Eastern history into two eras: Before the Summoning and After the Summoning.

Whether every detail of the official records is true remains a matter of debate among scholars.Yet few can deny the results.

The East also maintains one of the strongest naval forces in the world. Combined with its industrial capacity and technological superiority, its fleets project influence across distant waters and secure vital trade routes.

Together, the Eastern Democrate Federation and the Western Concord dominate the Four Kings Sea. Their merchant fleets, naval patrols, and maritime infrastructure control the majority of sea-based commerce throughout Eldoria.

Today the East stands as the dominant superpower of Eldoria. And every other federation watches them carefully.
