Through the eyes of a child, you will be invited into a world we are careening toward already. In this Graphic Novel, desert rules and the air quality is so poor people have taken to wearing masks and building air vents to keep the smog at bay. Trekking across this new yet familiar world, the main character, Child, looks for the last tree on Earth and in the process finds much more. In this future landscape, what vestiges of humanity are left for Child to inherit? The Last Tree explores issues of self-reliance, art, education and abuse in the form of a journey that inspires empathy and intrigue.
