UPDATE! I have revised the original light novel to make it novel length, so I am updating it on Tapas as well.

For past readers, there are no major changes to the main story. Revisions include mostly editing and expanded description and dialogue, but there are a few new and expanded chapters as well. (Sorry to subscribers who will be getting those notifications!) I also changed Maggie's age to 30. *gasp* Only 3 more years, but it fit him better to be older, since he acted that way anyway. ^^

Welcome to The Magpie's Death! I've honestly had the most fun writing this story (don't tell my other novels), so I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do. For those who have not read the description, I wanted to include a short introduction so you know what to expect!

Content/Trigger Warnings: This story does include descriptions of violence, killing, and bullying, as well as brief use of homophobic slurs, and references to or implied references to rape, sexual assault, human trafficking, and abandonment.

I will mark episodes with blood and violence for those who are sensitive to that, but the overall story is mainly light and easy, and isn't nearly as deep or as dark as those warnings make it sound. While it does begin with some violence, and there is some more throughout, the majority is fairly domestic and sweet, about a man learning to deal with new emotions and relationships, and how to handle his new desires alongside his conflicting, criminal past.
