Scott Harken has been on his own for the past five years. Moving from place to place, he never felt settled. He’d grown up feeling different to everyone around him and never felt like he belonged anywhere.

Meeting a group of people like him…different…people who could also do magic like he could, Scott thought he’d finally found the place he was supposed to be. However, the coven had an expectation of Scott before they met him, one that Scott couldn’t meet. Though Scott desperately wanted to be a member of the Old Soul Coven he also didn’t fully trust them.

Thankfully, he had one ally he could count on: Wren Thorp. The only problem, the coven had a vendetta against Wren and were doing their best to stop the man from ever meeting Scott. What the coven don’t know, was that Scott had already met Wren days before the coven had found him.

Thrust into a world Scott didn’t fully understand but desperately wanted to belong, he has to navigate through it while trying not to fall for the man that may one day kill him.
