Many many years ago, mother nature wanted to pass on her legacy of protecting the people, she eventually decided to give the elements consciousness, among these were:
Fire
Earth
Water
Ice
Each had opinions of each other, but one thing was certain, fire and earth were as thick as thieves, water and ice, as close as kin. Eventually, fire and water grew greedy, being alive wasn’t enough for these two, they wanted bodies, control over the humans as well as control over the weather. They possessed 4 vessels, inhabiting their bodies like parasites. These people were later known as The Originals
This brings us to the year 960 AO, (After Originals) In a kingdom capital named Aerengon, We look at a boys recent diary entry, and a family of nobility, a viscount, although quite low in the royal hierarchy, they still hold a strong economic influence.
"I am going to tell you a story about my mom from a far branch of the ice bloodline. She is 8 months pregnant with twins (she didn’t know that at the time), laying in her white silk dress, and cotton pillows. She’s reading a recent newspaper on the current election. Her husband is running for the mayor of the capital, although this hope is pointless, he has a job to provide for his new family on the way."
"Then, our very pregnant lady wakes, feeling hungry she gets up. And would you look at that she spilled water. Nevermind It's a magic hiccup, magic hiccups commonly occur during pregnancy. No one else is home so she ended up giving birth, alone, to a boy with dark blue hair (My brother Kai), and a boy with light blue hair (Me Yegu). My dad eventually came home that day and immediately got doctors, mom ended up being fine, at least that's what I was told. But I could remember ONE thing from that day. My parents talking..."
“What are we gonna DO? We barely have enough money to keep our reputation afloat and now you have TWO kids?!”
“It wasn’t my choice ok? How am I supposed to choose how many children come out of me?!”
We both started crying
“Stop yelling we are scaring the kids.”
“You cannot be serious.”
"Maybe that’s the reason I hate yelling so much.. Nevertheless I was born into this world and I'm grateful for it."
The boy then closes his diary, and goes to sleep for the night, not knowing of the day that will soon follow.
