The Protagonist and His Second Chance
The story centers on Yun Tian, a former pro gamer who, in a past life, failed to become a champion and ultimately lost his friends and a budding romance. Now, he has been given a second chance at a new beginning in a virtual reality MMORPG called Aerthos. His primary motivation is not personal glory, but to protect his friends and succeed where he failed before. His past regrets, particularly concerning Nuwa, drive his every action.
The Team: Ocean's Fury
Yun assembles a team called Ocean's Fury, comprised of his four best friends from around the world, all of whom are 12 years old. They are:
* Apolaki, the boisterous tank and Guardian.
* Lakan, the intelligent Elementalist and strategist.
* Jingwei, the silent Shadowdancer with a special connection to the world's history.
* Nuwa, the compassionate Priestess and emotional core of the group.
The team's first major goal is to become the first to clear the Sunken City of Eldoria dungeon, which they accomplish through excellent teamwork and Yun's leadership.
