This is just a test excerpt of a story I plan to write. I really only put it on here to test the novel feature and to get some feedback from the forums. If you are curious though, here's some context.

Camilla is a selfish thirteen year old girl who finds herself whisked off to a fantastical place called the The Puzzlenations. Upon arriving there, she learns of a sick prince, and a magical item that might bring him back to full health. Camilla agrees to quest to find and bring the item back, but secretly plans to take the item back home with her to cure her sick grandpa. On her way she runs across three sisters who agree to help her, but when a portal inadvertently opens up her and one of the sisters get blasted off to the other side of The Puzzlenations. Camilla pleads with the sister to still help her, but the sister, Diane, being quite timid and anxious, wants no part of Camilla's "epic quest". She promptly ditches Camilla on the side of the road and wanders off into the nearest town, looking for a way home. Camilla distresses for a while, but is soon found by two rather handsome young men and a girl with arrows on her back. They agree to help her and lead her past a thick blue fog into a beautiful meadow.
