So how is he supposed to react when his soul is literally dragged out into a void and forced into a foreign body? Or when a blue screen of doom tried to convince him that everything was exactly how it was supposed to be? What about the creature calling himself his guardian despite not even knowing how to hold a human right side up? More than anything, why is he in line for the throne?
Surely, he had run out of luck. But that didn't mean he was foolish enough to play hero. No.
Reis just had to wait. Until the royal family let their guard down, and he had enough money to escape far away.
But how is he supposed to escape from this so-called guardian again, at least before losing the last shred of dignity?
