During his time as partner leader of the Reality, which was established by both he and his half-brother, Maze Rituke, the very lonely and reclusive Khrona Tensei, though he had many friends and many allies, was still rather distant from all except for his two beloved lovers, Misery des Gloomi and Despair a la Discord. All three of them lived in the deepest, darkest part of the Reality in their Pit of Havoc, where all their Insanity culminated and festered in the darkness, yet they seemed to live peacefully there in a dark that was blacker than a moonless, starless night. Interaction with the outside world, as was required being a leader of a village, was causing Khrona to become more and more unstable in his Insanity, and Misery and Despair were the only two that could keep him from going over the edge. It seems as though, as time progressed, however, even they weren’t able to keep him fully contained… he was growing too powerful for the two of them to restrain… thus resulting in the Insanity of Khrona Tensei.
