Akuma's Pov: 

Sometimes I have these nightmares about a witch. The dream would start with me in the Angel's HQ and, I was fighting the witch. The crazy thing is that right when the witch was about to attack me the dream would cut off.  I don't know if it's a vision or something else. Anyway, I need to get up because my stepmom is calling me. I walked downstairs to see my amazing stepmom making me some lunch.  

"Hi, Mommy thank you for making my lunch you know you didn't have to."

" Akuma you know I always will and, you weren't up for breakfast so I thought I could make your lunch." 

I hug her and take my lunch then sit down. My dad walks into the living room and looks at me weirdly. 

" What's up dad? Why are you staring at me like that?"

" Why haven't you been up for breakfast lately Akuma?"

" Welp I might as well tell you, dad, I've been having nightmares or visions about a witch."

My dad looked shocked. " Honey when Akuma was born they said because he is half-angel and half-demon that he would have different powers."

Am I not right here? " Um, dad I'm right here. I'm already getting these powers you say?"

My dad nodded at me. " I didn't know exactly when you were going to get these powers, just was told you would get them."

My dad went into more detail about what they told him about my powers. Demons and Angels have powers of course but, I'm a half-demon half-angel so my powers are different from the normal angel or demon. I'm pretty sure there aren't that many of my kind. By "my kind" I mean half and halves. After I talked with my dad I went to the store to get some snacks. As usual, when I went to the store a couple of people would make fun of me. 

About what you ask? My mom because everyone knows she cheated. Ugh, I wish my older sister Datian was here but, she isn't coming home for another two days. I pay for my snacks and walk home. I made a promise that I wasn't going to tell my dad about the bullying.  He already has enough on his plate as is. Sometimes I wish my mom wouldn't have cheated because her doing that completely messed up dad. Did she have to leave me though? Like was visiting not allowed by my dad? It's been 10 years will it ever stop hurting?  I walk in the house to my dad opening a letter he looked stressed. 

I walk up to him. " Dad, what's wrong?"

" Oh, Akuma I didn't see you come in. Your mother sent a letter to you so I didn't want to open it completely."

Dad tells me that I could go upstairs and read it so I could have some privacy. So I go into my room and open the letter sent to me by my mom? Why would she send me something after 4 years? What it says made me mad as hell.

Ok so "Mother" you only try to contact me in any type of way when you need something. Like hell, I'm writing you back. What she doesn't even know is that all my powers haven't even come yet. As I kept re-reading the note I get angrier and angrier. I look at it one last time before I put it up. When I get up to go downstairs my skin looks blue so l run to the mirror and my hair is on fire and, my body is a dark blue. I yell out to my dad and he runs up to the bathroom. 

" Son, what's wrong?"

I look at him. " Are these more powers?"

My Dad nods and calls Heiwa my stepmom both of them try to calm me down. It works and, we head downstairs to talk. 

" Son, what happened to you before you got these powers?"

" Ok, Dad so I was reading Mom's letter she sent and I got angry."

Dad looked at me and nodded. " Ok, so that means that these hellfire powers as they are called stem from your anger."

Hellfire powers? What was I going to get next snow powers or something? My dad as well as Hewia was surprised I got two powers in one day. Honestly, my "Mother" only wanting me for these powers I'm going to get is sad. 

After my dad, Hewia, and I talk I head up to my room and draw sadly that is my only release. I let myself be captivated by the drawing and let my hands roam freely. What I drew wasn't an animal it was a vampire. Why did I draw a vampire? I mean he seems familiar I honestly don't even know. This is the first time this happened so I'm surprised. Honestly, I'll worry about it later right now all I'm going to do is relax. 

We remember what happened last time I got stressed out. So I pop in some headphones and listen to some music. The song is soothing and helps me relieve my stress and, I love to listen to it on repeat. I fall asleep which I didn't notice I did till I woke up.  I'm not surprised I went to sleep so fast I barely slept last night. I mean it was just thoughts about my mom and how I used to have friends. Yeah, I know it's surprising to me as well. Welp, I'm thinking about skipping dinner don't get me messed up my stepmom can cook I'm just not in the mood. As soon as I'm about to go back to sleep Hewia calls me downstairs. 

I walk to the living room. " Akuma do you want me to make you a plate?"

I nodded. " Yea but could you leave it in the microwave? I'm going to go to sleep when I wake up I'll eat it."  

She looked worried but said yes and put my plate in the microwave. I went upstairs to my room to head to bed. I heard mommy (hewia) and my dad talking in the kitchen. 

Mommy: " I'm worried about him he normally eats dinner right when I make it and then tells me how good it is"

Dad: " These years without his mother have made his mental health worse honey we should let him be by himself"

I think Hewia nodded and, her and my dad just went to talking about regular stuff. Thanks, dad for being supportive of me. I might have not gotten a good mom but, I sure did get a good dad and a great stepmom. I easily fell asleep and this time the vampire I drew was in it. We were fighting my mom and the same witch I got in my dream this morning. Can I predict the people I see in the future with my drawings and my "dreams"? I swear I've gotten 3 powers in less than 48 hours. I wake up in the morning, run downstairs, eat my dinner from last night, and knock on my dad's door. 

He groans. " What's up Akuma?"

I rush him over to the kitchen table. " Ok, so I got a new power I guess? Well, it connects to the dream vision stuff. Ok, so I drew a vampire yesterday then he showed up in my dream."

My dad looked shocked as hell. " Ok, so this vampire boy what does he look like?"

I ran upstairs got my drawing and, showed my dad and he just stared at me. 

" Akuma this is the vampire prince and, if he showed up in a dream that means your going to meet him soon"

When my dad said that mommy walked into the kitchen.

She sat down next to me and my dad " Did you say the vampire PRINCE and Akuma are going to meet"

My dad nodded and Hewia still shocked went to make a bowl of cereal for herself. My dad had to make one while he and I were talking. Also yes we don't eat bacon pancakes and eggs every day. Since it was 8 am Hewia and my dad had to go to work. What do these two demons do for work you ask? They train demons ages 19-23 so they can fight angels and witches if/when they attack us. Dad and mommy are known well here and not in a bad way in a good way. Honestly, both of them are amazing and I admire both of them.
