I looked around my 9th grade class room. It was strange to think that the school year was already almost over. It was crazy.
"Okay class, I want you all to take the test. There is no way to prepare. I'm sorry i didn't tell you earlier but the school found out yesterday." My English teacher, Mrs. Birdie said. All my classmates groaned, including me. I hated tests. They sucked.
"Here you go class. Please do your best." She said handing out the test. When I got it I gasped. It wasn't just over English but math, history, and even science.
Entrance exam
#1: 100-90 =
A. 10
B. 15
C. 5
The answer was obvious. I chose a and began filling out the rest. As the test went on I noticed it got harder and harder.
It was now around lunch time and we got a 15 minute break to grade our lunches, use the bathroom, and turn in homework to any other classes we had homework in.
"Hurry up students, it's time to continue." My teacher said ushering us back in.
The work was harder now, past 9th grade, that's for sure. Maybe harder than even 10th grade. I scrathed my head trying to focus while finishing my problem on page 10.
#199
#200
#201
By now my hand was cramped I wanted to be done. Why was writing so hard, why was this test so hard? Everyone else was still working, the kid next to me still on problem 103.
"All done for today students, tomorrow we will continue the test." My teacher said as she collected the tests. They had at least 60 pages to them and we had barely scratched the surface of the test. I remembered that it said entrance exam on it, entrance to what?
A school? It should be more like a country. How did th y exspect 14 and 15 years olds to do this? It was so hard. Like really, really, really hard. If I got in than I quess it would be worth it but this test has yet to prove its importance.
I sighed, it had been 3 days and finally, I was done. Let's see what this test was all about.
