Hello. May I have your permission to use your illustrated version of this story in our research thesis? If yes, may I know the text version you use on this? I hope you will help me. Thank you!
PG-13
Written by Edgar Allan Poe in 1843, The Tell-Tale Heart is told from the point of view of an unnamed narrator, who claims he’s not insane, as he describes his murder of the old man he worked for. The narrator hides the dead man’s heart under the floorboards and soon after begins to hear the old man’s heartbeat beat louder and louder. In the presence of investigating police he takes the heart out of the floor in order to stop the hideous beating.
I focused on capturing the narrator’s punishment in the story: insanity.
