After a week of no outgoing transmissions, Massachusetts General Hospital had sent out a rescue team to figure out what had happened to the occupants of outpost 31. Upon arrival, rescue teams found the wreckage of a charred outpost, and the remains of two men. One identified as "Mccready" and the other was identified as "Childs" by his dental records. He had received scorching burns to his entire body; Mccready had frozen to death. Both were flown back to Boston to be studied medically and forensically. Little did the rescue team know that something was still hiding inside the mostly charred remains of Childs.
