In the cosmic fantasy world of Hasphal, there is a lone guardian named Equan who watches and protects the planet from invading aliens and dark forces from the edge of the universe. Equan sits in his ship eagerly awaiting the next threat that may befall a home he had barely known. He asks no questions he never complains he just does what his ship the Duat tells him to do. To Equan it was just a game, a sport he has been taught to play since his youth. A game he always seems to win.
Every threat Equan has ever met has ended in an easy victory. He always had the right equipment and the right plan, that was until his win streak ended and he found himself broken by the weight of his failure and the reality of his purpose.
How will Equan cope with his new existence and does he want to know the truth behind his lone duty as the Watchful Guardian of Haphal?
