For centuries, the world of humans has fought amongst themselves for land and power. That was only until magical creatures returned to the world—terrifying, powerful, and bent on reclaiming what they lost. Some are allies, but most are enemies.

Now, ordinary men and women are thrust into a war they never asked for, forced to fight back against creatures born of myth and nightmare. With no magic of their own, they must rely on wits, strength, and unity to survive. The unity, most of all, is the hardest to attain.
