Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. 

Two people stand on opposite sides of a circle, polar opposites, two countering forces that, like magnets, are drawn to one another. However, because they are bound to this circle, they simply turn the wheel again and again. Spinning uncontrollably as they desperately reach for one another. 

And this is what brings about time. As the wheel turns, the two people standing on opposite sides trying to touch but never reaching, they turn the wheel, and time continues, forward in one direction forever. 

Until one day they decide that maybe they ought to go the other way. 

This is a story about time, patience, and opposition, and it is a story about a wheel that turns in one direction, until it doesn’t. 

And about a world that was one way, until it wasn’t. 

And a girl that loved a boy, until he couldn’t. 

That is the kind of story it is.
