Lying helplessly in a pit of my own blood I couldn't help but sigh. I wasn't angry, nor was i sad. I was betrayed, but for some reason I felt at peace...?
It's weird isn't it?
Here I am. After everything. Every death I witnessed, every life I've taken and every battle I survived. I was born a vermin, powerless to decide my own faith, helpless to protect my loved ones, but still I was the one who survived. ME. I'm ending my tale recognized as the strongest being alive, but yet here I am, laughing ironically barely able to breath as I pathetically drown in my own pit of blood.
I fought, struggled, crawled and climbed to the top, but still. I wasn't happy.
I sought power, riches, prestige and authority. However, still after achieving everything something was still missing.
I promised her...
I promised to live a happy life, yet not matter what I achieved the smile on my face remained stiff. I smiled and laughed acting like I was the happiest man on earth, but deep down I knew.
I knew I was fooling myself. I knew I was keeping up a farce. I was constantly wearing a fake smile with a bitter heart.
I could finally take of the heavy mask which I've been wearing. However, not without regrets...
"I'm sorry..." I whispered with the last of my strength.
As those words left my mouth, and I took my last breath, a single tear ran down my cheek ending the legacy of the World Conqueror.

As my vison blurred, and my consciousness started drifting away, I was ready to enter my eternal slumber. As I lost my senses, my track of time also disappeared.
I wasn't expecting a choir of angles welcoming me as I entered the gates of heaven, however I never thought death would be this dull.
It was dark, cold and lonely...
However a warmth was constantly reaching out to me, warming me and keeping me from going insane. It was a soothing feeling I haven't felt since I was a child.
I felt safe and protected, almost like "she" was gently cradling my small, feeble body with her delicate soft arms. However the nostalgic feeling didn't last long.
Soon, the comforting feeling suddenly turned to pain. An uncomfortably burning sensation was spreading through m-my body...?
Upon realizing that, the discomfort only increased. As my body was screaming for the agony to stop, muffled voices could be heard surrounding me. It was disorientating, but for some reason I felt reassured hearing a woman sobbingly whisper foreign words in my direction.
As what I believed to be tears, started dripping on me, the pain seemed to lessen. My body was aching as h*ll, but I could finally muster the strength to open my eyes. A blurry and clouded vision returned to me which finally allowed me to orientate my surroundings.
However, before I could do that a warm embrace enveloped me. She bawled her eyes out as unfamiliar words left her mouth between her sobs. I didn't understand what she said, but her embrace filled my aching body with warmth and the nostalgic feeling once again returned. I wanted to freeze time, and cling to this feeling for all of eternity, because never since "she" left, has I felt more at home.
However, after a while she released me from her embrace and turned to face another lady which was fairly old in the back. They exchanged glances and yet again spoke in a language I couldn't understand, but it was now that I realized.
Why are they so f*king big? Or perhaps...
Turnings my vision towards my own hands, it finally hit me.
I was reincarnated?
My hands were small, feeble and soft. Nothing like what they used to be. Remembering my scarred, rocklike hands, developed to hold a firm grip on the sword after countless battles, I couldn't help but reminisce about the past.
Did I really reincarnate? If so am I even in the same world? And who's body is this?
Thoughts and speculations ran through my mind as I tried to form an answer to my worries and clarify my situation. However, as I was deep in thought the older lady walked towards me, put her palm slowly above my forehead and started chanting. A mysterious green light radiated from her hands mesmerizing me and showering me with a warm pleasant feeling. Almost like a summer breeze. I indulged in those sensations and the extraordinary phenomenon with eyes wide.
However, soon I suddenly felt drowsy, my eyelids became heavy and my vision turned dark as I lost consciousness.

As my eyelids slowly opened I found myself staring at an unfamiliar roof. I forced myself into a sitting position as I scanned my surroundings. The room was fairly big, and decorated with quite luxurious furniture and furnishings indicating that the previous host of "my" body had a rather impressive background. Most people would probably be in awe just by the amount of silver and gold used to decorated the room, however to me who had been at the apex of society this was nothing.
Moreover, everything was huge as h*ll. Or rather, it was me who was miniature compared to my surroundings. Stretching my arms out to get a good look at my limbs I couldn't help but let out a sigh.
This body probably isn't even 3 years old yet. How did the previous host die? Or was it me who killed him...
Well, just thinking about it won't get me anywhere. I forced myself to stand on my own two feet and it took quite the effort. Not only was I unfamiliar with this body, but I was still aching all over. Besides, for some reason I felt somewhat dizzy and nauseous.
I clumsily walked to the edge of the bed, only now realizing how big it was. As I looked down I gulped, thinking about how I should make my way down. I awkwardly went on all four as I turned with my butt in direction of the bed edge. I slowly made my way backwards as I clenched the gigantic blanket with all the strength I could gather. Now, very slowly I slid of the bed edge, but suddenly...
*dunk*
As I lost my grip on the blanket a loud smack could be heard as my feeble body met the ground.
"What the f*ck..." I groaned as I caressed my butt.
Soon the door was abruptly opened as a beautiful woman hurriedly ran over to pick me up. As she carried me in her harms I immediately realized.
It's her. The warm and soothing feeling which led me through the darkness. The woman who embraced me as I woke up in this body for the first time. She really does remind me of "her"...
Only now did I get a good look at her. She had mesmerizing green eyes gleaming with vigor and life. Beautiful, long black hair, and a rather well developed and endowed body. She wore a gorgeous wine purple dress further enchanting her curves, but also giving her an extraordinary powerful emanation. She radiated a sense of royalty and nobility. She also wore a set of golden earrings with emerald ornaments and a graceful collar necklace with the same ornaments, both matching her eye color.
As she carefully put me down on the bed and caressed my head, she spoke, but yet again in a language I couldn't understand. However I could recognize the love and care for me she carried in her tone, but I also perceived a hint of worry and displeasure.
She was probably scolding me for falling of the bed...
Suddenly she stopped talking, and looked at me with an perplexed expression. Was it because I didn't react or answer? Most children would be able to form simple sentences after 18 months so it would be quite weird for me to act like this if the previous host could talk.
'I need a distraction..." I thought.
And so I did the only thing I could think about.
I sh*t my pants and started wailing as fake tears ran down my cheeks.
