I fought, I killed and I survived. As I slowly crawled my way to victory. No matter battle or war I would endure. I would bear with the pain, I would suffer and ignore the voices in my head telling me I was climbing the wrong mountain. I was determined to reach the top, the apex of humanity and at the end I did.

However what lied in wait for me there wasn't what I expected. Strength, Prestige, Wealth. I sought it and now I got it, but why? Why, do I still feel so empty? The happiness I so dearly sought for was nowhere to be found. Instead realization dawned upon me. As I ignorantly and stubbornly followed my goals I started climbing a mountain of corpses. My allies and friends died right in front of me, but I stepped on them only to go higher. Devoid of purpose and will I spent the rest of my life lamenting, grieving and looking for ways to atone, but one day I finally died...

Or so I thought. Now reincarnated into a new world of Magic, I swore myself to never make the same mistakes again. However, true peace and happiness are still things hard to obtain.
