When he reached the village gate, the children were already waiting for him and told him that mysterious men had been looking for Isamu.
When he arrived at the house, at first it seemed that the door was closed, but suddenly the door was thrown open.

Isamu and his family disappeared from Takayama and moved to a remote village, hoping to escape the eyes of the world. They blended into the poor, quiet community, and for a time, it seemed that they had finally found peace.
One day, however, Isamu’s grandfather was overcome by a disturbing feeling. Believing something was wrong, he hurried to Isamu’s house.
At the village gate, children stopped him and told him that mysterious figures had been asking for Isamu. In that moment, he realized that the past had begun to catch up with them.
When the grandfather arrived at Isamu’s house, he heard strange noises. The door slowly opened, and two strangers stood before him. One of them looked painfully familiar.
The grandfather whispered:
“This can’t be… you’re supposed to be dead.”
The mysterious man replied calmly:
“You can see that I’m alive.”
