In a dark and desolate castle an ethereal woman stood in a dimly lit room, she stood in front of a tall ornate mirror. You could see the wistful look on her face as her hands rested on her bulging belly. You could see that she was happy yet she had a sad smile on her face. Suddenly there was a knock on her door that startled her, her eyes widened with fright and she quickly ran her hands over her stomach and the bulge seemed to have vanished as if it had never been there in the first place. "Annalise?" A woman's harsh voice resounded through the door. "Are you ready?"
"Yes. I'll be out in just a moment." Annalise said, her voice soft but easily heard.
"Don't keep your father waiting." The woman said she sounded annoyed. You could faintly hear her footsteps fade as she walked away. Annalise sighed, took one last look at herself in the mirror to make sure her glamor was completely in place, and then walked out her door to see what her father wanted now. She knew that she was lucky that her glamour was strong enough that even others of her people couldn't detect it.
"Daughter there you are." A tall dark haired imposing man said. "Come meet your betrothed." Annalise paused and looked at the man standing next to her father. He was tall, dark and handsome. That wasn't deniable, but he wasn't her type, not by a long shot and he wasn't who she loved. I need to get out of here, she thought to herself frantically.
"Father haven't we talked about this?" Annalise asked her father. She tried to hold her head high, but she knew that she couldn't push too hard.
"Did we? I don't recall such a thing." Her father said. Annalise hung her head and greeted the man her father was trying to force onto her.

A tall fair haired man with piercing blue eyes paced back and forth in his home. "Why haven't I heard from her yet?" He mumbled to himself, the worry evident in his voice. At every sound he heard, he would frantically run to the window and look out it. "Come on Annalise, where are you?" You could hear the fear in his voice. He stopped pacing and just stayed at the window to keep watch. She was extremely late and he couldn't help but to be worried.
"Rai!." He heard the piercing scream of a woman.
"Annalise!" He hollard as he ran towards her. He grabbed onto her as he got to her. "What's wrong?" He cradled her face in his hands.
"They found me." Annalise frantically said, looking behind her. "We have to go now." Rai nodded and transformed into his wolf form, it was huge and white with deep ocean blue eyes. He laid as close to the ground as he could so that Annalise could climb on, She did as he wanted and they hurried to the cave he knew was hidden from everyone. Rai once again lowered himself to the ground and she slid to the ground.
"Rai the baby is coming now." Annalise cried out. Rai ran to her and helped her lay on the bed he had built in there.

Annalise and Rai ran through the woods. Not sparing a second to look back. Tears streamed down their faces. "My love she will be fine, someone good will find her, we made sure of that." Rai said, reaching his hand out to Annalise.
"I know, I know. No one can know." Annalise choked out. as she took his hand. Just then Annalise saw an arrow fly through Rai's head just before her world went dark.
