Finn knew that Rey had been acting weird for the last few weeks.

 When she had first come back from Exegol, she had hopped out of her ship and looked around wildly with tears, sweat and blood trickling down her face.

 She had been holding a bundle of black fabric that looked like it had a hole burned trough it. 

When she had seen him she had run crying into his arms. 

He asked her panicked, what was wrong countless times but the only thing she would say was, "Ben is gone."

 He didn't know who Ben was but she seemed pretty upset by it. 

Devastated. 

Like her whole world had come crashing down around her.

 She had stayed locked up in her little cabin in the woods for the next five days.

 She would not eat and by the sound of it, she would not sleep ether.

 The sound of her sobbing at night carried through the forest like a ghost. 

But then something happened.

 She came to dinner the next night with the biggest smile of her life plastered across her face. 

Finn still had no idea what had happened on Exegol but his curiosity burned even hotter as he watched, shocked as she gave him, Poe and Rose a hug.

 She didn't stay for long but she ordered twice the normal amount of food and laughed her way out of the mess hall and back to her cabin. 

Poe had looked at her as if she had just turned a different color. Finn didn't know why she was acting like this.

 He needed answers.

 So one night, he went to see Poe for help. 

"Hey Poe." He said when he got to the table he was sitting at. 

It was the game table in the dimmed lit falcon.

 "Do you think Rey has been acting weird lately?"

 "Yeah" Poe replied. 

The same look of confusion flirted across his face. 

"She was crying rivers until about two days ago and then she started dancing around like she had killed Kylo Ren."

 "Something is definitely going on." Finn agreed.

 "Did you notice that she started bringing twice the amount of food back to her cabin but is still super thin?" Finn pointed out.

 "And when she came back from Exegol she was carrying that shirt with a hole through it." Poe said.

 "Wait, that was a shirt?" Finn said. I thought it was just a bundle of robes."

 "Nope. It was a shirt. And by the looks of it, it had a lightsaber hole burned through it." 

"Maybe we should go spy on her." Poe said. 

"I don't think that would be a good idea but I need to know whats happening. Finn replied. 

Poe stood up. "I'll come get you tomorrow morning and we can go to her cabin." Poe said.

 And with that. They had a plan.
