Description
For years, Tarragon were used for war animals by royal armies. Now, in times of peace, the Tarragon population has dwindled to a small population used for companionship and work animals for royal and noble families. With the shrinking populations of tarragon, so too went the need for Tarragon Keepers in the lands.
13 year old Elric Hielran is entrusted to care for the last known living Amaryllis Tarragon, belonging to the Princess of Canaille... He is expected to grow and learn with the creature to prepare it to be given to Princess Maëlle on her 20th birthday.
To become a Keeper a man must spend the first 10 years of his training with a dragon before he is anointed as a True Tarragon Keeper. In that 10 years his heart pulls him in many directions, but one direction calls stronger than any other in his journey... Will the Queens last Keeper stay true to his duties, or will his feelings cause him to go astray?
