"Hey Kassidy wanna have some fun", Alisson asked me. "Sure that sounds nice", I said putting up my text book. "How about we go to a construction site". "That's stupid we both could get hurt". "I know but we might not so it'll be perfect".

    "Okay but you have to promise we'll be careful". We told my parents we were going to the store but we went to the construction site around the corner. When we got there no workers were around. "Are you sure this is okay Alisson"? "Trust me we'll be fine".

    "How about we go up there", she said pointing at the crane. "Um... okay". I didn't want to seem lame infront of my cousin. We started climbing up the crane. We got up there and I was terrified. 

    "We need to get down Alisson this isn't right". I looked up at Alisson who was on the edge playing. "Alisson"! She fell down and I ran to the edge and jumped off. We were falling through the air and were going to die.

    I reached down and grabbed her hand. "I love you Alisson"! "I love you too Kassidy"! We both fell into a big tank of liquid chlorine. Everything went black.

    When I opened my eyes I was in writhing pain. I looked at Alisson who was screaming under the chlorine. I grabbed her hand and pulled her to the surface. "Aaaah"! We both continued to scream in pain until it just stopped.

    I couldn't feel, see, or hear a thing. Everything just stopped. I woke up to someone pushing on my chest. I coughed up chlorine and my eyes opened. "Alisson, where's Alisson"!

    "She's fine Kass, Alisson is fine", my dad said. "Her hair what's wrong with her hair, her coils are gone and her hair is longer". "Are you sure this is Kassidy"? "Yes this is Kassidy", my mother said. They rushed me to a hospital room.

    All that day I was in and out of consciouness. When I woke up finally my head was banging. I got up and pulled the curtain next to me. Behind it Alisson was the sleeping. "Alisson"!

    Her once long brown hair was short and black. I ran into the hospital bathroom. I looked in the mirror and my short coily black hair was long, wavy, and white"! It looked like chlorine. I ran and woke up Alisson.

    "What happened Kassidy"? "I- I don't know Alisson but we have to go". I looked on the nightstand to see a note on old yellowed paper. "You have new souls, use them how you see fit", I read the note aloud. "What do they mean new souls"?

    A bunch of men in yellow suits came in and Alisson hopped out of bed. We were still in gurtles and didn't even have shoes or socks on. "You girls have to come with us please". "Who are you and what do you want with us"? They didn't respond.

    They tried to grab Alisson and she punched him. He went flying out of the wall. They tried to grab me and smoke started coming from my body. Somehow it seeped into their suits and they started suffocating until they passed out. I looked at Alisson who was fine.

    "What was that", she asked me. I sniffed the air. "Chlorine, it was chlorine", I said grabbing her hand. We ran out of the hospital and garbbed our clothes. "Where are we going to go"?

    "I don't know but we can't stay here". We fell out of formation with our family. They let us go and moved on. We ran away and didn't return for 3 years.
