It’s a scarlet thread, drawn right through the tiny, tiny town of St. Michael's – gateway to the glowing city on the horizon and its hungry omens. The philosopher knows the grip overflows here, too, onto the edge of edges. The inhabitants and the land are blooming into signs of the merciless metaphysical.
