Emily's world is completely different from ours. Not just a different time period, or any magic, but the actual world. The planet. The planet is a cube. Yup. Six faces, 8 edges, and 8 vertices. Each face/side, has their own gravity. If you're born on one side, then you stick with that gravity for your entire life. Therefore, if you go to the edge of the world, you will be met by a cliff. If you jump off of the edge, than you'll fall, and fall, and just fall for eternity(of course, until you die). Emily was born on the North/Upside of her planet, Gerth. Nobody living on the Upside has ever been to the Rightside, Leftside, Eastside, or the Westside of Gerth. However, no one has ever even set eyes on the South/Downside. If there was one thing anyone on the Upside wanted to achieve, was to go to the Downside, and come back alive, with proof.

Emily is no ordinary girl. She's an orphan, a princess, a baker, and a servant. If there's one thing Emily wants to do, it's to prove to the world that she's not a spoiled princess, a worthless servant, a rejected orphan, or any ordinary baker. If she's lucky, maybe even find out about her past...
