Description
Esadora Morgan is everything a witch could ever wish to be in the city of Esmeralda. Being the daughter of a Chamber Representative, she's privileged, powerful, and can easily force anyone to do whatever she wants. That all changes, however, when she's bitten by a vampire. All it takes is a few days, and her normal life is over-she suddenly has an insatiable hunger for witch blood, has canines, and is losing her magic.
Feeling like she doesn't belong anymore, she leaves Esmeralda to go the Vampire Belt and find out who bit her. She soon discovers this who it is, but when secret upon secret about witches and vampires come to the surface, she finds herself sympathizing with the vampires and questioning her loyalty to witches.
With an unlikely (more like unwanted) companion by her side, Esadora must decide what's more important to her - magic? Or the truth?
