What if an emotional breakdown could transform you into something not quite human?

Vehementia follows Margaretta ‘Maggie’ Winters as she starts her life as a counsellor in the blossoming city of Ardour. Unlike everywhere else in the world, the counsellors of Ardour negotiate with ‘clients’, a small percentage of humans who, after experiencing great emotional trauma, transform into monsters as tall as buildings.

It’s a profession that is still being perfected, but Maggie is eager to do what is right. So when clients start mysteriously going missing, Maggie decides she needs to do something about it.

Vehementia is a piece of serial fiction that is part sci-fi, part mystery and part psychological horror. Expect an update every Friday and Sunday!
