This is a chapter for the rules of asking for a review in this book. Please read and get to know them, they are important. They are as follows:

1. You may ONLY ask for a review by commenting on this chapter. If you find some other way to apply (tagging me, sending me PM, writing on my wall, etc) I will IGNORE you.

2. I reserve the right to read through this queue out of order, but I will mostly try to go in order. If I haven't picked up your book yet and it's been a couple months (not weeks), shoot me a line to make sure it hasn't gotten off my list somehow. I promise I'll get to it eventually but I'll try to be considerate if you've been waiting a while.

3. I will review any work handed to me, regardless of genre or content. This includes LGBT and Mature works. It's probably better not to hand me erotica because I have a hard time reading it, but I'll do it if you really want me to.

4. I will strive to be fair and honest. I will also try to say at least one good thing about each book I read. With that being said, please understand that you may get feedback you do not like, and do not ask me for a review if you are not okay with it possibly being negative.

5. I don't give negative reviews unless the author approached me for inclusion in this book. If you got a review here, and you didn't ask me for one, it was because I LOVED whatever book it was. If you see a negative review, it was because the author asked to be included despite the many many warnings that I give fair reviews and don't fluff pieces I don't love.

6. I do not pull reviews. It takes me a great deal of time and effort to write these. I can't always give a fair review of three chapters, so I read the entire book, or as far as I can reasonably get through. Sometimes I can tell in chapter 1 and don't continue. Sometimes this takes me a couple days, sometimes it takes me an afternoon. Sometimes it takes me an hour. Please respect my time and effort and only ask for a review if you are okay with the possible outcome.

7. If you ask for a review and your book is a chapter long and not a short story, I'll probably put it off until later. It's hard for me to give a review on a few chapters unless I already have very strong feelings about the work in question.

8. If you ask me for a review then ask it be pulled, argue with me in the comments, call me a giant meaniepants, etc, I will blacklist your work and you won't be able to submit again. The ONLY exception to this is if I reviewed the wrong work by mistake. I am happy to pull those reviews. Don't ask me to pull one because you disliked it.

9. If you submit a book, I am going to review it IN THAT STATE. You may ask the book be pulled from my review list and resubmitted later, but please do not ask me to hold off while you edit while the book stays in my list. I WILL forget.

10. I will remove books if I see the author hasn't been active in weeks and/or months by the time I get around to their book. If your book was removed please ask and I will add it back to my list.

11. If you mute me before your book comes up, you'll lose your spot in my queue, as I don't want to write reviews for people who are very likely to take it poorly. If you mute me after a review, I won't remove it, but you'll get blacklisted. People have the right to mute me but I'm not going to take the time to write a review for someone who doesn't like me anyway.
