The Galactic Assassins Agency is a large and well-respected organisation throughout the sentient planets, typically used by the people with money to take out their trash. The assassin known only as "Watcher" and his handler Matia try to remain above board, though, priding themselves on taking cheap contracts only on people who the word is better without. So when someone appears and starts interfering with assassin missions for mysterious reasons, they decide to investigate instead of blindly joining the manhunt. Now Watcher must grapple with his past and the present as he finds himself in the position of protector after so long spent as a killer, running counter to the very organisation he works for...
