Monoke walked into his class and his students quickly composed themselves and took out their history textbooks.
“Goodmorning class, I hope you all had an amazing new year with your family and friends. This year is going to be tough but I trust each and every one of you will be well prepared to take their entrance exams by the end of this year.”
Monoke was a high school teacher. It wasn't the career he had dreamed of but he slowly drifted into it. He loved teaching and helping better others but what he loved most about the job was how even with his small stature the students and his co-workers respected him.
Monoke was about 5’8 by the time he was in his senior year. He found that his height made it hard to get girls or respect from his peers. He was always pushed around and made fun of but as a teacher, everyone had no choice but to respect him.
“Please hand in your books for review before you leave,” Monoke said to his students
Once his class was over Monoke put the student's books in a box and made his way to the staff room.
Monoke had no idea that the books would be so heavy so he sort of struggled to keep it lifted as he walked.
“Do you need a hand?” a low but deep voice said to him
