“It may be hogwash, but, sometimes, if you wash a hog, you may discover that it was never a hog to begin with.”
I heard that line in a children’s television show. It was said by a scientist as he and the main characters attempted to figure out what the Triangle was. No, not the Bermuda Triangle, but the same general idea. Ships mysteriously going down in calm seas.
That’s how I feel nowadays. A ship sinking in otherwise calm seas.
That feeling was only exacerbated when I met him. One might say he made it worse.
I was once told that God was always with me. Inside me. Part of me. That He would never leave me even if I left Him. I dismissed it. It was hogwash.
Turns out, it just needed a good washing.
And, turns out, it was never a hog to begin with.
