So what is CPN? CPN is the acronym for cellphone novel.
According to Wikipedia, "A cell phone novel, or mobile phone novel, is a literary work originally written on a cellular phone via text messaging. This type of literature originated in Japan, where it has become a popular literary genre. Chapters usually consist of about 70-100 words each due to character limitations on cell phones."
Despite the modern easier formatting and larger character limit, CPN is still average around 70-150 words (200 words max) per chapter. It's a way of telling a story by blending poetry, line breaks and white space in a minimalistic fashion.
Censored is my first attempt at CPN. As stated above, you can come in expecting each chapter to take less than 1 minute to read, as each chapter is less than 200 words. I'm also learning and plotting this book, so this is a journey to both you and me.
Due to the small word count per chapter, this book will be updated daily (except for in Saturday and Sunday. Check my bio for the specific time).
