I have a lot of mixed feelings right now. This protagonist is born from my return to writing comics after a long time, not knowing exactly what’s going to happen next.
I keep having this constant image of Kazuya Hiramaru from the series Bakuman in my head. Hiramaru quit his job to draw manga without knowing anything about the industry, just because he heard it would bring him fame and money. I, on the other hand, quit my job to draw comics knowing full well what I was getting into—but with one key difference: what I want is to isolate myself from society and try to survive through my art.
For Leo, life is a living hell. His only sanctuary is Elena. But after a devastating accident leaves him in a coma, he’s given only 50 days to live. Trapped within his own mind, Leo wakes up in a perfect utopia where pain is a distant memory. But this sweet fantasy comes with a terrifying price. He'll soon discover that peace can be a cage, and to survive, he must make a choice: succumb to a beautiful lie, or wake up and fight through his bitter reality.
