In a world torn between endless wars against The Unknown, a young boy is brought into the midst of it all in an attempt at peace.
A boy whose unnatural powers are not only forbidden, but punishable by death. ~
The only thing Max knows about his parents, are that they both died by the very sword in his hands, that they must have loved him very much to sacrifice themselves for his own future. And when the only person he has left in life disappears as well, he decides it's time to find out the truth.
But sometimes the truth isn't quite what you expected.
