Description
Jess, an aspiring naturalist and illustrator sees an opportunity to finally do what she’d always dreamed of doing, be a scientific illustrator and naturalist like John James Audubon, of which in Sol, there are few of those jobs to go around, and travel the galaxy to study life, but first she must return aliens to their homeworlds that were slated to be sold as exotic pets. Only the former space pirate Ida knows where these previously unexplored planets are.
with an unlikely crew, she now has to prove her worth to her new boss and captain to ensure her new job isn't only temporary.
